Rachel Kice is a multidisciplinary artist. Much of her work begins on the ground—placing canvases directly onto the earth, feeling the shapes beneath them, and through a process of layering and preservation, working to keep what she finds there. Her practice spans painting, writing, and site-based work. Current projects include Shapes of Earth and Oracle of Associated Light. Earlier in her career she performed as an original member and resident action painter for MuzikMafia, Nashville's "Music Without Prejudice" artist collective, and was the first visual artist signed to a major record label (RAYBAW/Warner Brothers). Her work has been featured on CMT, the Radio Music Awards, and CNN, and is held in collections including the Tennessee State Museum, Warner Bros., Berklee College of Music, and Creative Artists Agency.

I’ll tell you what happened.
I don’t know if I can.
